Fr8yard Biergarten - Spartanburg SC
Fr8Yard is a fully outdoor biergarten located in Spartanburg, SC created by Hub City Hospitality, founders of Greenville’s Willy Taco (not every day that you get to work with your neighbors). The intention behind Fr8yard was to create a “unique, open air gathering spot that is family and dog friendly and offers amazing food & beverage combined with first-rate entertainment.” – and they delivered. Created from just 6 shipping containers Fr8yard has become Spartanburg’s favorite spot to hear live music, grab a drink, and watch a big game. From Design to fabrication and installation - Hilton Displays outfitted Fr8yard with multiple exterior identification signs, custom vinyls and a large digital screen for entertainment.
At the center of this outdoor entertainment center exists a 16’ x 9’ Optec Outdoor LED display which is used almost nightly to view sporting events, streaming concerts, family movie nights, and much more. We were eager to get the chance to create and install a sign which would foster so much community gathering. The sign was installed panel by panel by a small team of highly qualified professionals. With Hilton Displays this daunting large installation was made simple.
Fr8yard also had a vision to use their logo to create a vintage-inspired sign. Hilton Displays created a custom open-faced illuminated channel exterior letter sign using an acid washed rusted metal finish, to create a distressed vintage look. The exterior LED’s are also gold, which also emits a warm glow to achieve an antique look and feel.
While Hub City Hospitality prides itself on patron entertainment, Hilton Displays prides itself on the production of branded signage which help create the atmosphere of Fr8yard, as well as the client relationship formed.
"We were very impressed with the efficiency of the install and the attention to detail that was involved in the installation. A very complicated process that was pulled off according to plan. It was a pleasurable, professional experience." — Kenneth Cribb
